Mr. Gurbans Chatwal, Executive President, International Board for Business Analysis (IBBA)
Gurbans has 23 years experience in managing complex portfolio of projects, consulting engagements, leading global functions and transformation programs at organization level. He comes with broad international experience of working with global IT players, multi-cultural teams, start-ups, and educational institutions.
He is a prolific reader, translating his learning to provide thought leadership in coaching and consulting engagements. He has consulted with clients in US, Europe, and India for assessments (ISO, CMMi, TMap, and TPI), process improvements & cost optimizations (Systems Thinking, Six Sigma, and Lean), and business excellence (EFQM). He has been in the assessment team for CII-EXIM Bank of India Award for Business Excellence (based on European Foundation for Quality Management – EFQM).
Gurbans has consulted with leading Financial Services firms covering Banks, Insurance companies, Hedge Funds, Asset Management, and Settlement & Clearing companies across Europe, US, and India. With ROI driven and outcome guaranteed assignments, these engagements covered:

He currently also leads International Boards within LASSIB society for Engagement & Account Management, Consulting, and Business Analysis. In 2012 he founded SARAL school to focus on enhancing inter-disciplinary learning in areas of Mathematics and Science for middle and secondary schools.
Earlier he has worked for Capgemini (2002 – 2012), NIIT Technologies (1995 – 2000), and University of Delhi (1991 – 1995). Gurbans has lived, worked, and traveled extensively in India, US, and Europe. He has a Masters degree in Business Administration from IIT Delhi (2001) and M.Sc. in Computer Science from J K Institute of Applied Physics and Technology (1990).
His passion away from work is photography and teaching Science to school children.
